“我的新加坡故事”微电影大赛是配合新加坡建国50周年庆典(SG50)与新加坡宗乡会馆联合总会成立30周年,“我的新加坡故事”微电影大赛旨在借助年轻人熟悉的电子媒介,来加深国人对新加坡的认识。大赛由新加坡宗乡会馆、新加坡华族文化中心和联合早报网联合主办。
为什么我要参与?
这是新加坡首次举办的国际微电影大赛,您能透过拍摄微电影更了解新加坡的历史、文化和习俗,并以这特别的方式,一起欢庆新加坡50岁生日、迎接建国另一里程碑的到来。切勿错过这历史性的一刻!
谁可以参赛?
比赛开放给所有国籍的参赛者,参赛者的年龄需至少13岁或以上。

报名后,您能收到有关“我的新加坡故事”微电影大赛的最新动态和信息,也会受邀参加主办单位在新加坡举办的微电影分享会和免费训练工作坊。只需要填妥右上方的表格并按呈交即可。

大赛分成几个组别?
大赛分成三个组别:
参赛者可选择最适合他们的参赛组别。适合参赛者的组别有可能重叠,因此由参赛者决定该报名哪个组别。若参赛作品类别不清楚,主办单位有权利移动参赛者的作品至适合的组别。
大赛接受什么类型的影片?
“我的新加坡故事”微电影大赛接受的影片类型不限,包括故事片、纪录片、动画等。
什么时候开放提交作品?
呈交作品的时间为2014年6月到11月30日。

我可以同时报名超过一个参赛组别吗?
提交多少作品数量不限,参赛者可同时报名多个组别,但每份作品只能获得一份奖项。同样的,大赛委员会只会颁发一份奖项给一位参赛者或参赛团队。

我们接受的作品格式为mp4 / .mov / .avi / .wmv, codec: Prores, DV PAL, H264。微电影规格需为16:9——1280x 720 或 640 X 360。请注意,作品长度必须介于30秒至10分钟之间,作品大小不可超过30MB。

What is "My Singapore Story" Micro Film Competition?
"My Singapore Story" Micro Film Competition (hereinafter referred to as "the competition") seeks to encourage all participants to explore and share their stories about Singapore. This competition is also to celebrate Singapore’s 50th year of independence and the 30th anniversary of Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations.
This Competition is co-organised by Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations, Singapore Chinese Culture Centre and Zaobao.com.
Why should I get involved?
Be part of the history, “My Singapore Story” Micro Film Competition is the first international micro film competition organised by SFCCA, SCCC and SPH.
Who can participate?
The competition is open to all nationalities aged 13 and above on the date of entry.
Why should I register?
By registering you will receive latest updates on competition and invited to attend sharing session and free workshops. Register by filling up the information on your top right column and click submit button.
Is there any entry fee?
No.
Is there any public workshop or seminar?

What are the competition categories?
The competition has three categories:
There can be overlap in some of the categories and it is up to the entrant to choose which is the most appropriate. The competition’s committees reserves the right to move entries to other categories if it is clearly appropriate to do so.
What are the categories of film accepted?
"My Singapore Story" Micro Film Competition accepts all film genres including story film, documentary film, animation etc.

Submission date is from 23 June to 30 November 2014.

Can I enter more than one category?
Yes, There is no restriction on the number of submission. Entrants may enter multiple categories. But only one prize is awarded for each entry and to each individual or team.
What is the difference between "registration" and a "submission"?
By registering you will receive the latest competition updates and you shall be invited to attend sharing sessions and free workshops. Micro film "submission" is the only way to be considered for entry into the competition.
How do I submit my micro film for the competition?
Fill up the submission form with all valid particulars together with your micro film.
Can I hand deliver my submission?
No. All submission must be done online.
What is the acceptable film formats?
Acceptable film formats are .mp4 / .mov / .avi / .wmv. File dimension must be 16:9 widescreen format - 1280x 720 or 640 X 360.
**Please note that all entries should be between 30 seconds to ten (10) minute, and should not exceed 30MB.
Is there any minimum and maximum running time?
Minimum running time is 30 seconds and shall not be exceeding 10 minutes. Please note the size of micro film should not exceed 30 MB.
Do I need to insert "My Singapore Story" Micro Film logo into my submission?

Can I still submit if my microfilm has distributed, had aired and had entered another competition?
No. Only micro film that has not been distributed, aired or entered in another competition may enter "My Singapore Story" Micro Film Competition.
Can I use third-party footage in my video?
The entry should be original and not previously published.
How can I be sure my entry is received?
You will receive an email after your entry is successful. Please note that ONLY selected videos will be uploaded to official website.
How can I change information on my entry?
You may change or update your information by emailing us at microfilmsg@gmail.com. You may also change your competition category so long as your entry has not been review by judges.

Can I withdraw my entry?
Withdraw from competition is not allowed.
When will the result be announced?
May, 2015.
How are winner notified?
Winners will be published on official website. Participants will be invited to award ceremony on 16 May, 2015.
If I win an award and lives overseas, will "My Singapore Story" Micro Film Competition Organizing Committee pay for my airfare, accommodation and other expenses?
Winners are responsible for their own expenses, logistics for travel, accommodation and other costs.
Who has the rights to my work?
Submission of entry automatically transfers all rights to "My Singapore Story" Micro Film Competition organizing committee, SFCCA, SCCC and Zaobao.com. By submitting entry to the competition, each entry expressly grants permission to use their name, likeness, hometown, etc.
