"Grew on me", a song composed for my seventh solo album, "Soul Companion", is also the title of this music video that narrates our life stories while growing up in Singapore- simpler times where we played games at really great playgrounds with sand, ate rabbit sweets and had memorable games like "Oh Wah Peh Ya Som". This is my tribute to Singapore as our nation celebrates it fiftieth birthday next year- a tribute to the lives of the Singaporeans who have shared experiences of joy, pain, laughter and most importantly, togetherness.
